Dedicated Deployment Time

To deploy a new dedicated server requires a significant amount of work and takes a long time. Hardware must be selected, hard drives, memory, and networking equipment must be installed. Then the hardware must be racked and plugged into power and network. Then software installation begins. Operating system must be installed, system upgrades and tweaks must be made. Individual software applications need to be installed, updated and configured. This entire process can take days or weeks depending on the level of complexity.
